White Blank Page

Yes, I know this title is a song by Mumford and Sons, but it fits perfectly with my topic: my future.  I feel that my life could go in so many directions, and it freaks me out sometimes that any one small decision could change the course of my life forever.  I know what I want in my future, and that is happiness and love, as cheesy as it sounds, it is the truth.  The specifics though have not been set in stone.   I feel that as long as I do my best, God will do the rest.  The end.

  1. I agree--as long as you do all you can, things will work out. And I don't think its a bad thing to not know specifically where you're going (or want to go) in life. Some of the most interesting people take a while to figure it out, and thats probably part of what makes them so interesting--they've had so many different experiences!

  2. I like how you alluded to a song titled. It themed your post and made it memorable. It's always nice to know that i'm not the only one without everything planned!

  3. I like that you still have a very fluid life plan. What are some of the top options that you see for yourself in the future?

  4. I love the title first of all and I feel the same way about my life so many times. That a tiny wrong choice could effect me for the rest of my life. Scary! I love though how you put your trust in the Lord and have faith that all will turn out well with happiness and love, I think this is very true. Basically that is all everyone wants with their life right?

  5. Happiness and love are not cheesy at all! :) That is an awesome goal and thats something I would like in the future. It even says in the scriptures that "men are that they might have joy." Im excited to read more posts from you! Do you have a major you are working on right now?

  6. I agree Sid, what can be cheesy about wanting happiness and love?!?!?!?! NOTHING!!! It's what everyone should want in life, because without it, there is no point to life! And good for you on putting it in God's hands. That's something everyone needs to remember, it's in His hands and on His time, not ours.

  7. It is not a bad thing that your life plan hasn't been set in stone :). I still don't know exactly what I am doing. The fun part is finding out!

  8. I'm heavily considering Communications Major with and emphasis in Broadcasting. It is a highly competitive program to get into, then once you get in, the career is competitive forever and ever. This is both a pro and con of the career because I believe it is important to push myself and strive to be better, but the question rises in where to draw the line? Being a newscaster or weather reporter would be so much fun! For now I'm just taking the pre-requisites for the major and seeing where it takes me. Thanks for the comments!
